Meredith provides expert consultancy, tailoring Write’s services to projects of all kinds. Meticulous and fast, she draws on a wealth of practical skills and experience. Meredith is a project lead, technical writer, researcher, editor, and proofreader.

Applying analytical skills to sensitive work

Meredith often works on complex and sensitive projects involving multiple parts and authors. Her versatility, contextual intelligence, and analytical skills are strengths. She has worked extensively on projects for the defence, security, tertiary education, utilities, and incident response sectors.

An internationally accredited editor

Meredith is an accredited editor with the Institute of Professional Editors Limited (IPEd). Headquartered in Australia, IPEd also has a New Zealand branch. Meredith is also a conference committee member for IPEd conferences: Institute of Professional Editors Limited (IPEd)

For her MA(Hons), Meredith focused on political science, strategic and international relations, and military history.

Applying international publishing experience

For many years, Meredith was Publications Manager within the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University in Canberra. She also edited the prestigious series ‘Canberra Papers on Strategy and Defence’, and liaised with publishing houses within Australia and elsewhere.

Meredith has significant experience progressing written content through the publication process – from receiving manuscripts through to organising high-profile book launches.

Applying a commercial lens and business acumen

Meredith applies a practical lens and business acumen to commercial work, and has helped with strategic plans. Early in her career, Meredith held a range of support roles in commercial legal firms within New Zealand, including Russell McVeagh and Buddle Findlay.
