Innovative strategies have been at the heart of Una’s consultancy career. From Northern Ireland, Una began her working life as an Adult Literacy Specialist in 2005.
She led apprenticeship programmes in an educationally deprived community in Northern Ireland, and earned a reputation for innovative teaching and leadership. She was seconded to the Education and Training Inspectorate of Northern Ireland as an Associate Assessor for European programmes.
A lifelong dream led Una to New Zealand, where she worked as a tutor of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) before joining Write as a consultant. Una also has life and work experience in the United States and Australia.
Una treasures Write’s mission of using the power of words for good. In her role centred on evolving technology and innovative thinking — she says our words have never been more important.
Una was a great trainer and provided a great environment for learning. I really enjoyed the opportunity to take part in this training.
