Claira™ Terms and conditions

As with all AI usage, we need to add the legal stuff. At least it’s not fine print!

About Claira™

Thank you for using Claira™, our AI tool designed by expert humans to review the clarity and reader-friendliness of your documents.

Claira™ reviews against the well-known Write Plain Language Standard. This Standard is:

Document security

We’ve built Claira™ with safeguards similar to our other AI+Human® services. It operates in a secure environment and does not use your uploads to train large language models (LLMs).

When you upload a document to Claira™ we will store it securely for three business days. During that time, some documents may be selected for a confidential manual review by our AI Innovation Officer and development team, for quality assurance purposes.

Claira’s limitations

We’ve trained Claira™ over many months of input and testing, and we are confident that the output generally gives a useful indication of quality and effectiveness. But as with all AI assistants, Claira’s output can sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify its suggestions with your own judgement or professional advice. We welcome your feedback or queries.
